Plan to attend WCNA 37? That’s the World Convention of Narcotics Anonymous in Orlando, FL, on August 30 – September 2, 2018. That’s just a little more than a red key tag away from the posting of this article.
If you are going, perhaps you’d like to do some service work. A convention of this size needs lots of volunteers. And after all, there’s nothing like a little service work to give a recovering addict a gratitude bump and make us feel like we’re a part of something greater than ourselves.
WCNA Jobs
The convention relies on NA members for variety of jobs. Shifts are available around the clock. Some of the available jobs include:
- Registration
- Translation Equipment
- Merchandise
- Information Booth
- Surveys
- Coffee House
If you would like to volunteer at WCNA 37, you can apply online.
- Enter your contact information, create a password and enter your clean date
- Select one or more shifts
- Select the type of email notifications you want to receive
- Scroll down to click on the continue button
That was easy! After you complete the application, look for a confirmation email with information including how to check your schedule and make changes to your schedule. As shifts fill up, WCNA will remove jobs from the list. So you might want to firm up your commitments sooner instead of later. Make your selections carefully. Choose only those jobs that you are willing to do. Please do no commit to something and just forget about it.
